yes unfortunately. there’s been a trans exclusionary push in more conservative gay circles since the movement started. this isn’t new. it’s our trans Black sisters who are risking EVERYTHING, pushing for all of our rights and being themselves truthfully, and we should be respecting and loving them + their humanity, supporting them, using our whiteness/cis bodies to protect our family. instead trans people have always gotten the short end of the stick in the LGBTQ community.
