it was written by a queer woman and produced by a gay man. it is made for queer by queers. you don't have to like it but stop making shit up "made for women fetishize gay men" wtv. im a gay man and seeing my relationship in a show where we are portrayed as normal people who do normal things (like have sex! adults can do that!) was really great. y'all keep posting this, i PROMISE you this isn't smth we need to see every day.

Agreed as a bi man. It makes me kinda uncomfortable and I’m really scared to watch it. I just want queer media that isn’t super sexual and isn’t super tragic. I also read MM romance novels and 95% of them are written by women and that just feels weird too. Idk maybe it’s too controversial but I prefer queer media made by queer people. (And yes I know that HR was made by a bi woman and a gay man, it’s the straight fujo fanbase that’s the problem. And the hypersexualization of queer men)
