you’re getting shit on but the facts are that in 90% of assault and rape cases, the perpetrator is a man. THAT is why people are so weary of men but yes lets act like they’re wrong for it. bc ignorance is bliss right?

I think the original post is correct there: there’s a diff between “I think it’s all men” which is just, not true, and “I’m acting like it is for my own safety” which is completely. If ppl get mad at the latter, they are (hopefully) mistaking it for the former. But i see no reason to be upset at the woman for the latter if y’all understand it’s the latter. Even as a dude myself like. Yeah I get not wanting to take that gamble.

Also I reeeemember seeing somewhere that the figure for that academy was…a lil misleading? The telegram group for that thing was 1000, and someone said the videos themsleves had 50k views Which to be clear is still abhorrent, and still probably very indicative of how we raise men and the harm that men often cause. But it’s multiple orders of magnitude different than the headline. The world is scary but not that insanely scary I haven’t fully verified myself tho so take with grain of salt.

Just went through the article actually real quick, I didn’t see the 1K from a quick skim but they did say some videos surpassed 50k. Which, I must again, stress is STILL INSANE. What the fuck. But the headlines about the site itself isn’t as accurate to the actual specific videos from what I’m seeing. I’m very suspiscous of what other types of videos they might have but honestly don’t wanna check myself….anyways yeah there is stuff to be scared of but not literal millions of people viewing
