
People can have preference. Some people prefer brunettes over blonde, some prefer men or women or nonbinary people, some prefer a specific race. Rarely is it because of look, it’s generally because of a culture or personality difference. For example, tell me you can’t hear what a black person sounds like in your head. Not that all black people sound that way it’s just a difference. Maybe that’s not the case since the way this message was worded, it wasn’t great.
I see your point, but I think if you’re a white person who doesn’t want to date POC that doesn’t exist in a vacuum. You’re affected by your society and systemic racism in your preferences whether you realize it or not. So if you have that preference I think you need to deconstruct your internalized racism that affects that preference A LOT and I don’t think many “whites only” people have done that…
Ok I see what you mean. I’m not defending the person because I don’t know what this person believes. I just read the post and offered an alternative perspective. However I do see the problem now. I assumed they responded it’s my preference no offense was a way to ignore the question, I misinterpreted the conversation.
