the last few times I confessed crushes, I told them they could take a bit to answer, but to let me know in a day or two or I’d assume it was a “no.” helps with the anxiety on both ends ime

if it’s needing time that should be communicated. it just causes unnecessary stress otherwise. i say this as someone with intense social anxiety disorder

I had someone else with an anxiety disorder tell me it sounded extremely stressful to be told they wouldn’t get a response for hours/a day, which is why I said it was different for everyone

Update is he was sleeping 😛 also things are going pretty well and I think it will lead to the gay relationship of my dreams, also realized I have an anxious attachment style and am working on it very hard
