Saw a tiktok of a black gay man saying he likes Heated Rivalry but doesn’t like that it’s another western show highlighting “whiteness or an asian person” Acting like Asian people are PROMINENT in queer media… All I can think of is Bowen Yang & Joel Kim

The whiteness criticism is something I can definitely get behind, but why try to claim Asian people need LESS representation in queer media?

and you know that by Asian they're only referring to non-brown Asians because nobody ever thinks about anyone outside of Japan, China, and sometimes Korea 🙄
