Like how tf am I supposed to forgive n forget?? It’s been like 5 yrs since he did what he did, and only recently have I somehow FINALLY gotten through to ppl that EYE am not the one who is responsible for “fixing” things. Why is it so hard to accept that I’m not gonna forgive someone who attacked me????

My family told me to forgive and forget when I came out ab my brother SAing me. Families will do anything to ignore something that will break their perception of their children. For me, I made the decision to prioritize my safety and removed myself from my family. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but I couldn’t be happier. You can try reach your family on this issue, but sometimes people don’t want to listen to the truth. Please stay safe xxx
