Listen I’ve heard people (cis trans nb gay straight anyone) with bad names but if that’s what they respond to it’s what I’m going to call them and if I’m in capable of calling them it for whatever weird reason or I’m just not comfortable with it ( I have a speech impediment but I’ll confidently say your name wrong if I have to) I will work on a fun nickname that we both agree on

You need to do some self reflection, I think. Calling your supposed friends’ self identification ‘transgressions’ as though it were some bad thing they have done TO you is wild. Allyship and support is unconditional and that cannot coexist with the sentiments you’re expressing here

You’re reading WAY too much into this. I wasn’t serious when calling the name Newt a transgression, I meant it’s one of many bad name examples I’ve encountered. I love/ support my friends and will call them by whichever name they want, even if I might giggle a little bit at the choice. Nothing Ive said indicates otherwise. Idk why everyone is assuming the worst
