I’m the type of person who uses the f slur with my lgbtq friends because I’m lgbtq and they are too and we find it funny in certain situations anyway I very nearly did that infront of my dad and little brother who would not have found it funny

I use it with my friends online who I’ve known for 5 years and always have to check with my college friends first cause I know not everyone is comfortable with it

Same. Once I was with some friends that don't know I'm trans and I accidentally dropped the t slur 😭😭

I only use it around friends who I know would be comfortable with it I’m only comfortable using it as I’m a member of the lgbtqia+ community I don’t use it publicly, infront of people I know would be hurt by it if made uncomfortable by it, or in a generally harmful way and honestly the reason I and the friends I have who say it use the word jokingly is because we live in a semi rural area in the south and using it as a joke makes it hurt less to us when someone uses it in a harmful way
