Outdoorsy queers I need recommendations for hiking boots that are cute and fun but can also support my weird ass foot shape. Literally does not matter to me if they’re men’s or women’s shoes, but they need to be able to take some serious beatings

Always always walkways go for function over fashion. They’re hiking boots. They don’t need to be cute. They DO need to be reliable, and that tends to make them need to be utility looking instead of cute

I don’t have a recommendation for hiking boots but I do really like my pair of Altra Lone Peak trail runners. They have grip on the bottom but aren’t as heavy as boots. All Altra shoes have a wide toe box.

Oh yeah fs, something durable and functional is what I need, I’m just curious if anyone’s found a good hiking shoe that’s functional but has some fun colors or something. I’m just bored of black and gray. I dance and I have beat up feet because of it, fashion shoes do not work for me

I’ve heard good things about Altras, how do they fit in the heel? I love a wide toe box, but if the heel is too wide my shit loves to slip around and cause me problems.

I haven’t noticed any problems with the heel.
