My point is that if you’re gonna criticize people for sharing an opinion on Yik Yak as if it’s actually taking away from effective resistance, I can criticize you right back for the same thing

i’m not complaining abt their post. i’m saying i think there are bigger issues for the world and for the lgbt community than the name of a body of water.

Yes, and they can address those bigger issues too. People come on yikyak and complain about various things that are upsetting, and those aren’t mutually exclusive.
