what really grinds my gears are people who complain about not having better options, but who don’t put the work in to get progressive local candidates (not accusing OP of this!!). You have two years, getting involved locally is how you help build support for a national progressive agenda instead of expecting a better candidate than Gavin “I hate homeless people” newsom to appear out of nowhere

also no candidate will ever be perfect, so think to yourself: what is non-negotiable and what are you going to have to continue protesting for? Leftist infighting gets us nowhere (again, not about centrists like newsom parading as progressive, they suck)
