tbh dude that is entirely up to you. i really don’t like or agree with some of my family’s opinions on things but i still love them and want them in my life. i would say the next question is whether or not you wanna have that convo with them and help change their mind or educate them

I’ll be honest I’m not sure what I’d do in your situation, it’s definitely a hard one. At the end of the day it’s your mom but years from now let’s say you have a trans kid is she not gonna accept them?

As a trans person the best you can do is to not be like her. Family can be like a gun to your head, don’t get shot trying to change what might not be possible. Thanks for being a kickass person though.

Even if I had a cis kid I wouldn’t allow her alone with them, she is kind of terrible with kids from my experience 💀

I’ve tried but she won’t listen. She’s way too far down the rabbit hole. Her ex (who practically raised me, they were together for most of my life - they broke up when I was 19 & were together for 15!!!) came out as trans late in their relationship so she uses her ex as a way to paint all trans women as evil
