I’m aware of what it’s attempting to get at, but please look at what it actually says, word-for-word. trying to describe any of those things as “not political” is insane

no shit it “shouldn’t be a debate”. whether something is “political” or not doesn’t remotely hinge on whether there Should or Shouldn’t “be a debate”. that’s simply not what the word means it shouldn’t be debatable that the Israeli genocide of Palestinians is wrong and a horrific atrocity, but whether someone supports Palestine or not is still a political issue

because hundreds of people are embracing a wildly inaccurate definition of what “political” describes lol? not exactly common for hundreds of people to be wrong at the same time on social media, just disheartening to see

it’s not “my” definition, good lord. people have been saying “the personal is political” since the 70s, I am begging y’all to read some theory rather than taking “facebook auntie”-tier posts as fact
