This is reminding me of that story told through multiple Reddit threads of a trans woman wanting to go to sports events in the city she’d just moved to but was nervous about how people might respond and faced so much support and even the stadium team personally guided her to her seat and gave her a bag of merch for the team so she’d feel safe
