Real things (white) queer people have said to me in Detroit:
“I don’t like black people music”
“What’s redlining?”
“Well, statistically speaking…”
“I never realized segregation was still a problem today”
It’s literally just a white people problem. Not that whites are inherently evil, but living with privilege so baseline that they don’t even realize it’s a privilege.
