to further comment on this, i am going into research reguarding gender dysphoria as my (eventual) PHD topic of interest and currently working on a paper about this topic. it drives me up a wall that there are so many sources about these two topics (transness and gender dyphoria) that differentiate the difference between the two backed by research and yet ppl chose to ignore that

Auto gynephilia, some people believe trans women only transition to fulfill some kind of fantasy and that gender dysphoria isn’t a real thing Idk what the ftm equivalent would be tbh, it’s mostly a transmisogynistic talking point
