The existence of trans masc individuals in lesbian spaces, they said lesbianism is wlw exclusively when its more complicated than that because of gender nonconformity. and they were also adamant on placing modern labels to people throughout history when the understanding of sexuality is entirely different today than it was in greece for example.

Without going to deep into it for risk of my anonymity, i did research on a lesbian commune in the 1970s in a small deep south state and lesbian separatist movements. Not as cool as it sounds (terfs unfortunately) but still a cool topic

Yes, and i told them that if they are attracted to only women thats fine but they cant expect the entire label to change its history just cuz they feel that way lol

I really feel like some of the thought process stems from ppl confusing trans masculine for trans man. They’re not the same 😭 it’s crazy how every year there’s some discourse
