i AM trans, im simply pointing out the irony in their last statement. i obviously don’t think everyone who still consumes hp are bad ppl, but im so tired of having ppl explain to me how they *do* support trans ppl they just can’t give up the nostalgia!! like theyre needing me to affirm that it’s okay when honestly im so tired of seeing anything related to that nasty transphobe

that’s valid and I appreciate the honesty since, yes, it genuinely is not necessary to seek affirmation that their behavior is ok literally every time this comes up. if they’re gonna do it then be quiet about it.

Yeah, I totally agree with you both! I don’t actively talk about HP at all, sometimes I just watch the DVDs from my childhood. I can understand everyone’s pov, but I think there’s more important things we should be talking about tbh. If we wanna leave HP in the past then let’s stop bringing it up all the time.
