I’ve kinda been there, my ex girlfriend (no hard feelings to her) wasn’t out to her family mainly. I don’t remember if she had dated other women, but I knew she had crushes. We split tho cause of the fact her family was super religious, lives in a small town, and she was worried about stuff getting back to her family. A very quick summary, but yes there are women out there who are willing to date someone despite not being out, we just so happened to have our own La La Land ending.

I will never be with someone who is ashamed to be with me and isn’t even sure of their own sexuality. I’m not playing these games. I am not your test dummy. I am a real person who deserves someone to CHOOSE me and fight for me. Not some experiment. Figure your shit out before you involve other people. Women aren’t just your play things.

Wow, you must be a really sad person to be around. But sure, desperation totally equates to giving someone a chance and understanding when things don’t work out because that person is not in a safe environment to come out without the risk of alienation, homelessness, and threaten of conversion therapy. I don’t know who hurt you go turn you into such a hateful person, but I really hope you don’t make your future partner feel like shit about themselves if they have a past similar. Shame.

i don’t think it’s something to be ashamed of at all but I have also only been in two relationships which have both been with men. but i don’t want to tell my extremely homophobic parents that pay for my college until there is a reason to tell them. like it’s not that i will never be out but i don’t need that extra stress unless a person exits

Yeah, I’ve dated “you” before. If you ever were dating me in this situation, I would want you to tell them. I will never date a coward again. If they cut off college, let them. Take away their power. But I would never be with someone who keeps me a secret.

Dating somebody who is unwilling to stand up for you and your relationship and risk the consequences of cutting off hateful family, instead of taking their crap and accepting it and ultimately leaving you bc of it, bc they secretly hate themselves is what is miserable. I deserve a partner who actually makes me feel wanted and chosen. And so do all lesbians. Stop allowing these cowards to have their cake and eat it to. They need to fight for me if they want me and show me I matter.
