I’m not even trans but every time I hear someone say some shit like “she was born a boy named ___ and now she identifies as a girl” I feel personally attacked and wanna blow a gasket. Just say “she’s trans” if you must say something and move on. 😭
I’m not trans but every single thing against trans people I take so personally more than things against my own sexuality for some reason

It’s like telling someone the definition of a word instead of just saying it, if they don’t kno what trans means, THEN u can explain what that label means like damn 😭

I work in a hospital as a nurse aid and the amount of healthcare professionals that say that shit (and then get all upset and defensive when I call them out) genuinely makes me sick

Like thanks now hopefully I forget that so I don’t mix it up with their real name

Keep calling them out and making them uncomfortable like they make trans people uncomfortable.

Oh I do and they make the excuse that they’re just too old to understand, so I told my manager instead 😊

Good 😇 And if they’re “too old” to understand, I guess I’m too young to “understand” how to respect my elders in the ways they wish I would 😍
