replying to this post just because it’s what sparked this due to a distasteful(now deleted) reply: i am an anti-zionist fully but referring to a jewish person as a “zionazi” for any reason is BEYOND fucked up.
blatantly false btw

like yes zionism is fucked up and we need to criticize it, but almost every other jew i know has family members that died or had to survive torturous conditions due to the hand of the nazi regime. genuinely refer to jewish zionists as anything other than a nazi i beg you.

bro i’m literally #2 arguing against zio being a slur. the term nazi comes exclusively from the people who killed jewish people. it is freak behavior to call a jewish person by the name of someone who killed their family

Hey! The OP of the original post that argues zio is a slur. Calling a jewish person a zionazi is fucked up and is simple trying to use jewish trauma as a bite back against them.

Hey, so theres a reason we call things by different names— to differentiate between their nuances while acknowledging their similarities. There are similarities but to say they are the same is disingenuous to both the historical context of zionism and nazism and its just fucked up to called jewish people nazis when entire bloodlines where wiped out (which is where alot of jewish loyalty for a zionist state originated from. TRAUMA FROM LOSING EVERYONE IN A GENOCIDE).
