Refusing to date someone based on an aspect of their identity that is unable to be changed is bigotry. It doesn’t mean someone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to date them. It just means that maybe you need to think about why you wouldn’t

at first I was onboard with the post based on what I *thought* it was referring to but then I saw the OP tell someone in the comments who’s exclusively t4t that they “have to examine why they think that way”. and yeah, imo that demonstrates that they don’t grasp the difference between the types of dating preferences which are likely to be based in harmful cultural programming -vs- just preferring to be with someone who experiences the same-or-similar form of oppression that you do

Nah it’s about race and gender and sexuality or any unchangeable identity marker. If everything about a person makes you compatible with them except for ONE identity marker and you end a relationship or don’t even attempt one to begin with because of it that is a sign of internal bias

The post didn’t say you can’t be T4T, just that if you would absolutely never date someone who doesn’t have the same identity marker as you that you may want to think about why
