I’m sorry I know there’s somthing deeper but 4/4 does mean 4 quarter notes or the equivalent so like musically this would not make any sense

i mean it communicates what it’s meant to. it doesn’t follow standard notation, but that doesn’t make it utter noise. it’s like a typo, but music. you cna stil tell what i’m syaing, even if i loosely break away from syntax. that’s part of what makes us so cool! we interpret stuff beyond the rigid “rules”. we pick out the meaning in things that don’t “make any sense”. we imbue every level of detail with semantic meaning to feel what we see because we think in feelings, not rules. we are animals:)
