Right. My point exactly, all of these DL, closeted and discreet guys are clowns in my opinions. They are unaware of how much ppl couldn’t care less about your sexuality or gender expression. In college I was wearing earrings, etc. things I couldn’t do at home. I expressed myself to the fullest in college(graduated in 2025). I wouldn’t ever let random ppl control my life. We’re already judged by parents, that’s enough on its own. If you’re a stranger then it’s not my problem fr.

tbh I disagree, solely on the premise of how Christian nationalist white supremacists are actively and currently targeting our civil rights across the world, in addition to how some countries don’t afford us civil rights in the first place. being closeted has always been a result of societal fear and a sense of survival in the face of that

I’m sorry but I agree with OP, this is rooted in privilege. the majority of this nation is still extremely homophobic. the Supreme Court very recently legalized (once again) conversion therapy across the country, and our federal government is openly and systematically targeting the trans community on the premise of identity and identity alone. passports and licenses being revoked, employment being denied, and more. Im sorry but this just isn’t rooted in reality.

They need not to target these people. Conversion therapy? How about addressing these systems in regards. If someone is gay, bi, lesbian or trans they should have that privilege. It shows narrow minded people who have a bias. This behavior is just atrocious. These communities didn’t spend decades worth of time just to have their rights scrutinized.
