Ugh. Even with my pronoun set being she/they, clear and communicated preference for she/her, it’s exclusively they/them from the “allies”. 🫩

my ex friend used to introduce me as they/them when my pronouns were he/him to “make people less scared” as if some tiny little gay man was gonna do anything to them

I only use they/them until I get the chance or ask for someone’s pronouns, then I make sure to use the correct pronouns! I feel like that is just the polite thing to do.
