And not even just queerphobia like why are so many queer people racist or misogynistic?? What are we doing here Being friends with or dating a shitty person who belongs to a subsection of lgbt isn’t a valid reason to generalize said community out of anger

At this point I’m convinced that either everyone in the community genuinely hates each other or half of the people on here are trolls or psyops or whatever. I can count on one hand the amount of genuine moments of community I’ve seen on here

It’s because a lot of queer people stop deconstructing their bias once it goes beyond their own identity. They’ve dismantled homophobia but not racism, they’ve dismantled misogyny but not transphobia and so on. Caring about bigotry starts and ends with what affects them.
