I hate how sexualized mlm relationships are both irl and in media. God forbid a man has a low sex drive and just wants to hold hands. Yet I’ve encountered some people who act like if I’m not super sexually active then I’m not being gay correctly

This is such a real problem. I’m not mlm but lesbian, and this happens for us too of course, but even from the outside it’s clear how much of a problem this is for gay men/mlm as well. I’ve legit heard people find out someone is gay and immediately ask them insanely personal questions about their sex lives. It’s horrible. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this <3

mlm 🤝 wlw being sexualized against our will Thank you for your comment, and I’m glad other people are noticing, and I’m sorry you have to go through it too. I find it hard to find queer media that isn’t really sexual for no reason. (It’s either really sexual or really tragic or both tbh.) I’m a queer man and I don’t feel comfortable doing hookups or casual relationships and it makes me feel like an outsider

1000%. I’m asexual and lesbian, and some people literally hear/read “lesbian” and think of a porn category. So gross.
