Why not lol I'll talk about my fitness goals with someone I don't go to the gym with or my career ambitions with someone I don't work with, why is this different? I can't talk about my life and my future with people I hang out with??

Ohhh ok I took it as the original OP saying that the two of them were planning their wedding WITH each other, not just saying what they’d want their individual weddings to be like. Ya that’s kinda crazy to get that attached

Well it is lowkey talking about your wedding in theory with each other but like it's not serious. Like the same way you're like "oh we should do this together" and then you never actually do it, it's just words lol. But it should be clear that it's just words because you guys aren't even dating like why would marriage talk be serious when nothing about your "relationship" is serious
