Protesting is a right that you’re guaranteed and entitled to. That being said, there are exceptions for people not being able to participate.

Keeping up with the Jones’s is a choice. There are many ways to protest, the most effective being with your wallet.

Apologies if I’m misunderstanding your take, but some people can’t afford to miss a day of work. I’m all for no buying (I’m aware of other mediums as well) but some people NEED to work.

Needs are life and death, upholding the status quo isn’t. If you ~need~ Starbucks and one in every color, you’re part of the problem. If you’re literally only surviving how can you do less? Y’all acting like I said everyone should get fired and go without meds. When I really said stop trying to impress ppl you don’t even fk with

My post mentioned nothing about purchasing. My post is specifically about working.

Actually they didn’t mention surviving, they said need which people use loosely often. The ‘privileged’ don’t care about protesting. It’s not a privilege to fight for our rights it’s a civic duty. Who said the revolution was going to be comfortable?

you’re right! we should obviously just execute anyone who doesn’t protest like the french revolution did 🙄 /s part of reform is rejecting social darwinism by taking care of the sick and injured. which means if somebody needs to work to afford their fucking insulin, let them work.

And I expanded on that, if you can’t call out do the more effective protest and stop spending.
