I want to go to a pride event but I just recently went through a very rough few weeks that caused me to gain over 10 lbs and I just feel so afraid of going out. I’m sad I won’t be able to wear the clothes I’d want to wear

The event is in my college town and the people there are so fatphobic mostly towards people they perceive as female which I would be. It’s rough having such a slow metabolism and feeling like I’ll never be able to feel confident, my acne was finally clearing up too..

That’s true it’s just really defeating when you keep hearing people say mean things about people who look like you all the time and people making assumptions about you because of what you look like. Hopefully those kinds of people don’t even show up in the first place
