Women do start more wars actually but it’s because women in politics have to be far more cut throat and not perceived as weak

I think you’re talking about Harris, to which I agree, however at the moment saying that kind of ignores the fact that things have not gotten better in Palestine while things get worse in any area trump touches

Okay but the real criticisms is that she was committing genocide, not that she was on her period. From her own constituents that pressured her, the actual meaningful criticism is that she abetted genocide.

I’m not disagreeing love she did and that was absolutely disgusting, but trump has done the same while commuting other atrocities ontop of contributing to the genocide in Palestine

Neither are necessarily good, but she was/is the lesser of two evils

Sure so people leveraged their vote on the topic of Palestine and Kamala decided to fuck around and find out. She lost because of her awful campaign and because she betrayed her constituents and the Palestinian people.

If your lesser evil commits genocide I don’t think you should blame anyone for having an aversion to that

I’m not blaming you for having an aversion to that. I don’t like her myself, but I am now a bit confused. You believe that what we’re experiencing now is better than what we would have been experiencing had she won?

Well no I’m not saying you specifically are blaming me. But in the conversation of rational electoralism, you’re just not going to get enthusiastic voters behind someone committing genocide. Especially with people acting like it’s their fault that the administration we’re under is horrible as well. But it’s not the voters faults

That’s true, and Kamala’s stance on Palestine was terrible. However, Trump is also actively aiding in genocide as well. I don’t remember much about his promises during his campaign so I don’t know what he said his stance was at the time, but the fact of the matter is Trump is doing what Kamala would’ve done and worse. It’s awful the lesser of two evils was a neutral stance on a genocide, but we mustn’t forget that the worse of two evils was and is also genocide and now more war on top of that.

Sure but there’s no election now. The chance to leverage them was during the election. The lesser of two evils wasn’t neutral on genocide, she was actively abetting it and campaigned on ensuring its proliferation.

Apologies, I forgot Kamala’s stance as well it seems. But my point still stands that Trump most likely held those same plans at the time and is issuing them now. I’m aware there’s no election now, but even back when it was happening I feel like comparing their policies and promises would’ve revealed the same cons, y’know?

Oh for sure I won’t dispute that. But people did abstain from voting because of this, and lesser evilism just isn’t compelling enough when forced to pick between genocidaire 1 and genocidaire 2

And now Gaza is obliterated. Are you happy? Did you get what you wanted by staying on your high horse and not choosing a candidate we could have at least attempted to change the mind of, versus a literal fascist?

If one had blinders on and didn’t see it as it was: literal fascism vs not fascism, I suppose you could be blind enough to make that insane moral blunder.

And how exactly was Harris, who hasn’t been in power for the last year after her vice presidency was over, commiting genocide?

she wasnt directly herself, but her stance/polices showed how she was literally in ignorance of the genocide in Palestine. girl was VP then running for Prez. and NEVER condemned it much less Isreal
