I don’t think it’s weird to date someone of the same sexuality, but I do think it’s weird to have a reason that boils down to seeing bisexuals as unclean and tainted by men

uhh arent there lesbians out there who have had sex with men and realized they aren’t into it and are lesbians? are they “tainted” or “too close to men” then? it gives me the same creepy purity feel as the idea of virginity. another way to control who has sex with who in order to feel valid enough in a relationship.

I am les4les but i date bi women. My preference is other lesbians, but i will date bi women. Some les4les lesbians r genuinely weird about their “reasons” for not dating bi women. Like,, as if lesbians dont cheat or arent also trifling lmfao.

another creepy vibe it gives me is “gold star lesbian” which is rooted deeply in transphobia. also… does it not defeat the purpose of bisexuality to only date one gender? just say youre looking for other lesbian women, dont put other women down for having sex i thought society did enough of that ☺️
