This is the struggle I’m having with top surgery. I know I NEED some form of it, but I am having such trouble figuring out if complete top surgery or a radical reduction would make me happier. The fact is that I will be dysphoric no matter what I do.

you don’t have to be on it forever. you can start and stop as you need to. also, many forms of gender affirming care are possible (voice training, laser/electrolysis, taking it with DHT to stop body hair growth/hair thinning/bottom growth, etc). transition care is super customizable.

maybe you can check out t gel but only put it on your pp parts to make your clit look slightly bigger but not masculinize the rest of your body if you only use some

I had a dream I was on HRT and when someone pointed out it was noticeable i got dysphoric 😅 it still haunts me

also you may or may not be dysphoric later, hormones effect everyone differently (dose/genetics), but you’re definitely dysphoric now. you’re already on hormones and you don’t like it!

I would want my natural voice in the future though, and you can’t really pick and choose what parts of a transition you get from HRT I get there are steps you could take to try to feminize yourself afterwards but from what I’ve seen it doesn’t get you back to where you were which would make me very dysphoric still
