As a shorter trans guy with small feet, I kind of wish there were more options for “petite” sizes in men’s clothes and shoes. Plus I know there are plenty of cis short kings out there who could use those kinds of stores/sections

And before someone says “shop in the boy’s section”, I have broad shoulders and thick ahh thighs, boy’s clothes don’t fit me right either

I absolutely do. I just wanna be able to have clothes that fit me nicely without having to pay a ton of money for tailoring/spending a ton of time tailoring them myself, shopping in sections for kids or teenagers, or looking like a weird dude shopping for women’s shoes and clothes

Like even men’s extra smalls and smalls are cut for people who are taller than me, just with narrower shoulders. I don’t understand how SOMEONE hasn’t made something for bodies like ours yet

NO LITERALLY! the xs sizing in men’s is so loose on me and still super long. my cis brother isn’t much taller than me, so i have no idea where he gets clothes that fit him

if it’ll fit you better, no. you can find more masculine stuff that matches what you want in there

are the masc women’s clothes in the room with us? and besides, for me at least, going to the men’s section can feel super affirming. plenty of cis men are on the smaller side too, do they have to go to the women’s section for clothes?

I run in to a lot of issues with women’s clothing too. Also usually built for narrower shoulders, I also don’t have boobs anymore so the chest fits me weird. I hate the way the shirts tend to be cropped or super fitted at the waist too

this is when you learn to sew and alter your own clothes, it’s not that hard

listen man, i was gonna suggest learning to alter too but there's no need to be a jackass about it.

I know how to sew and tailor my own clothes. It’s not difficult, but it’s time consuming to have to do it to every single piece of clothing I wear. Plus, I can’t “tailor” shoes to make them fit. I’m allowed to want to walk into a store and find clothing that fits me

I was specifically talking about clothing, obviously. You literally mentioned clothes in your post.

yes, but when I mentioned clothes you acted like you only mentioned shoes.

Are you intentionally this dense, or does it come naturally to you? You said I should learn to tailor clothes, I said I know how to tailor clothes but just want to have the ability to buy clothes off the rack at a store, and mentioned I can’t alter shoes to make them fit. Like am I speaking an alien language you can’t understand
