I feel like such a jerk but I absolutely do not want to hear about anyone’s Christian beliefs. Ever. Even when other queer people want to tell me about it.
I need to get more chill about this. It’s hard because bigotry is baked into the Christianity of the communities that I have been living in and has hurt me and my queer loved ones

I threw myself into some adjacent exposure therapy by going to the unitarian universalist church, but if anyone there is currently a christian they don't talk about it. I think it's helped. I've been going for a year and I miss it now if I skip a week.

I have been begged to go to church by Christian Nationalists so many times that the mere idea makes my stomach turn. I am gonna find an alternative way to get more normal about Christians. I don’t need to love them. But I need to be more tolerant for sure.

that's so fair. do you have a therapist you trust to talk about it with?
