They’re there, they are just so deep in the closet sadly. All the gays in my area got in hetero relationships after a big revival in my small town 😭 tbh I had to move to find my gf lol

Are you also super connected to Appalachia? I love home so much that I’m moving back soon. I’ve seen a few successful queer love stories so definitely don’t give up 😁

It is very beautiful here, and I do love it here, but I also know I’ll most likely be moving after I finish my masters, just for opportunities in work and finding a bigger community. I don’t plan on going far though, probably northern VA

I didn’t move far either and when I come back, I’m only moving to northern WV for the same reasons - work opportunities & community. I just wish you all the best cuz I really do understand the struggle. It can get rough out there! DMs always open🙏
