Not a man but my friend has the most luscious beard and he swears by beard conditioner and regular trimming. Use a beard oil too if it’s long enough to get tangled and if you want to make it look healthier

Wash with shampoo and conditioner (get products specifically for beards) every 2-3 days, and if it’s long enough, blow dry and comb. You can use beard oil and/or beard balm too if you want — I have beard balm but honestly only rarely use it. Electric clippers for trimming. Get a boar bristle brush and brush every day. I also keep my beard faded into my hair on the sides but that’s a personal style thing and dependent on your hairstyle.
