Ok what if I, a mostly passing trans woman in stem, audibly say “fuck I’m gonna be Fox news tomorrow” whenever I do something publicly stupid or cringe

My thing about this is sometimes it genuinely does feel like that though When ava kris tyson was outed as a predator soon after she came out as trans it did make a lot of people (who were always going to hate no doubt) say see i was right about trans people

I ofc can only speak for my fellow queer folks. When a queer person says something like, “this is why we don’t have rights” or “this is why we’re blamed for AIDS or Monkeypox,” that person is enabling homophobic dehumanizing rationales to become normal in society and hold the whole community back in fighting for our acceptance.

For a queer person to say something like that, it’s like they’re admitting to themselves that they think they’ll never be good enough for a homophobia-dominant society if they’re caught acting even a little bit looking like a bad person and that our eradication from all life is inevitable. That to me is such self-hating bullshit.
