im going to a festival may 23/24 but my last final is on 05/14 my parents are strict and wont let me go w permission so i need to lie and say that i need to stay on campus for an additional week. whats a good excuse to say i need to be on campus for (help

if you're a science student you could say one of your professors are conducting a research study and you volunteered to help. like maybe something about water quality if you have a river near you, or maybe a study on pollinators located on your campus

Easy, say there’s this coding competition for a scholarship/possible internship but it’s in person and it’s a two-day comp, also mention that there’s a bunch of companies that are gonna be there…..take some pics of ur dressed up in some fancy lecture halls or in a couple of classes discreetly to sell the ruse later

Do what #2 said. Say one of your professors is working on a project or study and you volunteered to help. If they ask questions about the study you can just make something up. It’s perfect because due to privacy laws your parents can’t email your professor to confirm.
