So I live in the Pride hall at my college where a neighbor on mine had a mini whiteboard on their door that has a daily question. I wrote “Trans lives matter & protect the dolls” on it and someone erased it so I wrote ‘so there’s transphobes here??’ To which someone replied “no advertising”. So how is this advertising? (Does it maybe count as freedom of speech?) Or how is it advertising something that is supposed to be common place and a “rule” you agreed to when you signed up to live here??

It’s not advertising, they’re just transphobic. Keep writing it! 😎

But the thing is this is supposed to be a safe and accepting place or else why would I live/go here right?

in my hall, anyone could’ve gone up there. also just because it’s supposed to be accepting doesn’t mean everyone is. sometimes people also are just feeling mean and want to take it out in a way where no one would know who they were
