ABCD (anything but a cis man) is so fucked up from a trans man POV, I get the sentiment but the terminology used with this discussion always just shows yall don’t see us as men

I understand trans people using it but from cis people it can be pretty icky. Trans men can absolutely be different from cis men, we’re far less likely to be misogynistic, but you can still find very wonderful cis men out there. Making the distinction definitely makes me a little wary. Would probably never date a cis person who says that as a trans man

I had a gay man say “you may not be a lesbian but a ABCM!” Like uhmmm no, thats invalidating for me and so many othernpeople included

I usually see this in formerly lesbian spaces that want to include both trans women and transmasc butches
