Before someone starts about genital preferences, those are fine!! That’s perfectly fine!! The problem is when there’s transphobia involved, or misogyny

i appreciate this so much, as a trans man, i face prejudice more often from cis gay men than i do from cis straight men!

As a gay bottom, idk. I’d just much rather date/have sex with a cis man. I do find SOME trans men attractive, but only physically not sexually. I wouldn’t get much sexual pleasure out of them and probably vice versa and that wouldn’t be fun for either of us. (Plz don’t grill me for this, just my personal opinion as to why I don’t)

i’m so sorry you have to go through that man 🫂 i don’t share your experience because i’m cis so i don’t see what prejudices happen (except the ones my best friend shares as a trans man) but you have my support and sympathy, and you’re free to talk about your experiences if you want

This!! I realized I had to change my label from gay to bi because I only have a genital preference. I don’t care if you’re male or female. Regardless, trans men are men and trans women are women!!

If genital preferences are the issue, then more gay men would have no problem with dating pre-op trans women or post-op trans men. The truth is that this stems from seeing trans men as women, and denigrating them down to their genitals. Way too many people hide behind the ‘genital preferences’ excuse.

as a trans man i actually don't think its as simple as that. people may have both presentation and genital preferences. a gay man might not be attracted to trans women, but still have a genital preference for penises.

i'm a trans guy and i think you're completely fine honestly. i probably wouldn't get much out of sex with you considering the way that i tend to fuck people and honestly sometimes it just doesnt work out sexually and thats life. like thats being queer idk 🤷‍♂️
