
Putting that label on them isn’t cool, but if that’s what they call themselves, they can go ahead. I guess in my mind that’s part of the nonbinary nature of transness, where someone can identify as mostly male, but still feel lesbian fits them best. “Actually trans men are lesbians” is different from “I still think of myself as a lesbian.”
I think people shouldn’t correct each other on how they label themselves. I imagine we agree on that. People trying to do that should be told off. That’s the generic definition. But identify and sexually is fluid. We shouldn’t be policing labels nor giving labels to people whose identity we don’t understand as a whole. For example, there are masc lesbians who use him/him pronouns. This isn’t a new concept. If they choose to take T that doesn’t change anything about their identity.
