Ok, so I have tried to google it but got mixed answers. In the most respectful way possible, What are the preferences that make you demi? What does demi mean in this instance? I was recommended to by a friend to search into it

Not OP but I’ll answer: the way I interpret it, I consider myself demi because I just like, never get crushes. Ever. So the usual advice of “just approach someone and ask them out!” doesn’t work for me because…whom do I approach if there’s nobody who particularly stands out as someone I would be interested in?
