How did you guys come out to your friends? I’m thinking of a cake that says “I like girls or something”

biggest tip is: the energy you give is the energy you get back! it’s like announcing a pregnancy. if you’re nervous and unsure, the reaction will be nervous and unsure. if you’re THRILLED like “I’M PREGNANT!! HOORAY!!!” then they’ll reflect that too! i did an ice cream cake and balloons and music, like a surprise party

This is a hot take but I think that we shouldn’t have to “come out” we should just do our own thing and let others catch on because honestly why are we having to explain ourselves like let’s just love who we love with no explanation

I just casually told them yeah I’m bi or I’ll causally mention a past girlfriend and boyfriend. In my opinion I like it being a chill thing unless Im actually not sure of their reaction

Been trying to figure this out with having to tell my sister I'm genderfluid

When you come up with a strategy, lmk. still trying to come out to my best friend after years of actively pretending to be straight

tbh i haven’t yet but I know my family really wouldn’t care so I’m just gonna date and if I get a girlfriend then I’ll just bring her and say oh yeah this is my girlfriend and I like girls. I just recently realized I was a lesbian and didn’t go through so many hardships as others do, so to me, it’s not a big deal but to others it could be everything.

I came out in highschool to my friends by telling them “I’m dating someone and they’re not a boy” (jokes on me, he’s trans and I’m nonbinary, neither one of us were girls lmao)

I feel like my strategy is to just be normal. I’m a goofy person so that’s why I kinda wanted to make a like a joke of it with the cake but ig didn’t have to be so serious yk

this is exactly where I come from because I don’t care and I genuinely don’t see it as coming out, but I can see how it’s important to others
