Did anyone else have a “bisexual” phase where they loved getting attention but truly deeply hated every man that ever spoke to them even if they didn’t do anything wrong… just me?

I learned about the LGBTQ+ community when I was 12, I’m turning 20 in exactly 67 days (shut up) and it took me this long to stop being in denial and realize I was a lesbian. This was after getting out of a relationship with a man who was fully intending on marrying me, having a bunch of kids, making me a SAHM, and me regretting every single life decision leading up to this point So after 8 years of a bisexual phase, yes, I finally accepted that I’m a lesbian

I had a similar experience. From 12-23 identified as bi and dated a man for 7 years. For at least the last 1 1/2-2 years I was in denial about possibly being lesbian. I didn’t except it until recently after I turned 23 that it was okay and its been the best few months since then.

Yeah, I had something like that happen. I started dating when I was twelve and dated three guys seriously throughout that time but also dated two women during that time. I acted surprised when my feelings for the women were significantly stronger than the feelings for the men
