i think it’s interesting that when you ask someone to define gay (men) the answer is always a man that likes other men but recently when you ask someone to define lesbian it’s women liking non-men. genuine question: why do u think that is?

Women are a very large and oppressed minority and I think that women are expected to like share their space with other oppressed groups

Ykw if a transfem/trans woman told me she still identified as gay I really would not fucking care. If she can still find a relationship then that’s great. If she’s been in the community for so long why would she dip? It IS a two way street in my mind.

like don’t cancel me but i agree. to me lesbian is women liking other women but i know recently a lot of people have started to include non-binary & gnc ppl. nothing wrong with that but just curious why that doesn’t seem to happen w men 🤷‍♀️

I don’t know why that can’t be a separate category. Lesbian is women liking only women and then another one for women liking non-men
