Wait I don’t understand why you’re acting like there’s a “lesbian handbook” or something. Have you dated men before and had a feel for when you wanted to start taking things seriously?? It’s probably complex and different for everyone right? An individual thing and the time is right with everyone at different points, right?? i see what you’re trying to say. here’s the thing, i have dated men before, but considering gender roles in a heterosexual relationship, i was never the one to make the decision. i’m not pretending that lesbians don’t have real encounters and different experiences, that’s why i asked EVERYONE. i grew up in a religious household in the rural south so i am only accustomed to “traditional relationships”, and obviously lesbians do not participate in gender roles. does that make sense?
