Being a femme lesbian while low key being masculine at heart is so odd. All my lesbian big sisters(role models) are butches and every character I relate to is usually masculine. Some could say I act masculine. But I dress like a princess. It’s odd.

Girl I’m like this too. I don’t realize it until I’m with my straight friends

I wonder the same to be honest But my relationship with my own femininity and the way I present myself and as well as my role within the lesbian community it’s like that’s just who I am I guess 😭

I’m always worried tho. Bc some ppl look at me like so u are wearing semi girly clothes one day the next u find u in jorts and a t. Then if I told a masc that would they still consider me a femme or not

It's so much of what other people think of your gender performance rather what you think of your own gender performance. My own gender performance is definitely femme I would say and so is yours. It doesn't really matter what other people say. But yeah it does feel feel ironic and almost poster syndrome:(
